The idea of various threads is appealing, but does it work? Should there be only two: EVRFC and General? I think that the old site did benefit from having only one line. And if someone put nonsense on it, this was simply ignored!

I'm not so sure about that. At the moment, it is quiet and posts would be easy to pick though on the old style board. But when postings pick up, it would become more difficult to wade through the volume of postings that we can expect during a busy season. Granted, the troll postings are now almost non-existent (thanks to this type of board), but there are still a lot of posts that people won't want to bother trawling through to find something relevant for them to read.

Mind you AD, I could make it a lot less to trawl through by not posting MY messages (I know I'm a board hog)

Perhaps Tony could put in an "ignore" facility?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this topic? It's a good 'un.
