Good win against a tough Swansea side. A few Swansea sides over past few seasons have come up to Ebbw and rolled over but this one didn't. Strong wind made it difficult second half to get good field position. Defence was generally good but we did miss quite a few first up tackles. Good to get the bonus point and can certainly see a few teams coming unstuck against the Whites this season. Onward to even tougher challenges now against Pontypridd and Merthyr. C, mon Ebbw !

Another victory, our boys flying high in the premiership. Having taking my nerve tablets in case of another slow start i could have saved them. The team was out of the traps quicker than a greyhound with it s tail on 🔥 fire.
Swansea showed some determination and kept us on our toes. They proved that every team has to be in concenteation mode for the full 80 minutes.
Poor Rob Sevenoaks yellow card was a joke he had his opponent grazing for the majority of the game.
Carl Meyer gets better by the week . really putting himself in the marketplace. Rhys Jones looks good . so all in all a happy day . smiles all round.
Steven Alsop the ref is another story. He had a shocker. He s a nice bloke and in the future he ll be good but he s been put in the arena at premiership level too early in my opinion. Poor bloke looks way out of his depth. Some of our harder fixtures to come in the next few weeks so we ll have to be at our best.
One last thing, why all this fuss over Osian Davies at Merthyr and him joining a region . Has nt anyone noticed Cam Regan, Rhys Clarke. Lewis Young Owen Young and captain fantastic Ronnue Kynes. These boys give 120 % evety game and by far as good as if not better than the Merthyr yellow card king.
