Hard to tell how strong or weak Llanelli were but from our point of view much improved.
- Scrum was a lot better, earlier on winning us quite a few penalties.
- Lineout substantially improved.
- Whole mental approach was more active, more committed.
- Discipline! Kept our players on the field.
- Generally a lot more controlled and intelligent play. It actually looked like there was a game plan breaking out.
OK some flaws, we had several clear scoring attempts only to be penalised in the last few years needlessly but on the other hand, we created the opportunities to get in that position.
Towards the end we slowly drifted into too many aimless high kicks where keeping the ball had served us well prior to that.
Definitely moving in the right direction and a well needed morale boost.
