What is going on?

Post by Wynne »

I can't imaging what goes though the mind of the coaches at the Dragon, they must wake up every morning, get together over a coffee and decide what can we do today to shock and annoy everybody. Take for example John Evans the No.9, this lad has been with the region through all the age grades as well as Wales 18s and 20s. He has established himself as a great prospect and has a very good future in the game, so what do the Dragons do, they bring a southern hemisphire player in and lets Evans be lost to Bath, good luck to him if it is what he wants but can we afford to be letting him go. It seems that if a player happens to be from SA, NZ or Australia it is assumed they are better than home grown talent. I for one do not agree with it, i see our centre Carl is playing in the LV cup game tommorrow for the Dragons, i don,t beleive that we have no home grown players that could not have stepped into that position, it is not the fault of the lad and i wish him well, it is the fault of the coaches. They have even played Dorian out of position just to get him on the field rather than bring in someone that is a specialist in that position like Leon Andrews, even Luke Jones is on the bench when Rhys Downes is a better player. It all stinks.
