Here's a Good one. Have heard that RGC have fallen foul of WRU rules due to they're non participation in the Fosters.Rules state that all clubs shall participate in relevant WRU competitions and if not point deduction shall come into force. Now considering the WRU have pumped vast sums of money into RGC " player development " the Fosters was a perfect competition
for said development. They( RGC ) then threw a wobbly stating that traveling to games midweek was a problem.
So it was alright for the Ebbw players to have a Tonkin down at Sardis on Wednesday. whilst RGC development boys were at home watching Coronation Street.RGC have clearly broken the rules so ,as they say ....watch this space.

Re: RGC and the FCC
The chances of WRU RFC being docked points are less than zero. Absolutely no way will the WRU want to do anything to hinder a club theyve pumped disproportionate resources into and bent the rules to allow them to prosper.

Exactly, its purely a WRU club, so its been their choice for the good of the players or whatever to exclude them from the FCC. Understandably Imo, would you want to go to colwyn on a Wednesday or south every other week?

Special treatment for them than the rest of us then ? May as well chuck them in the Pro 12.What would happen then ? Would they start moaning that Scotland Ireland and Italy is too far for them to travel ?
