After all the arguments they put forward to substantiate a 16 team Premiership ,after three years they have changed their minds. On the WRU net it states that after next season 4 clubs will be relegated and a fifth club play off against the Championship winners.Promotion and relegation will then take place for ensuing seasons.Bet poor old POOLA are not very happy about this sudden change in events.

It will be interesting to see how Rodney Parade manage that having Newport RFC, Dragons, Dragons Dev and Newport County playing from there?

My big concern is the format of the league fixtures for next season.Common sense would be all teams play each other on a home and away basis. However we are dealing with the W R U here.If they go for the EAST WEST split again ,we could be away to the better sides like last season.this would make the whole set up a charade ,but would be typical of the powers that be ?????
