Did anybody catch the scrum v Daffyd Lockyer interview tonight ?

I just wanted to gauge everyone's thoughts, as I thought he was a bit pompous?

It may just be me miind, just how he came across to me...calling himself the best centre never to play regional rugby?

I didn't see the interview Matt but he may be the best centre not to play regional rugby.......but it is up to others to judge that.

He may very well be, but to call himself that? You wouldn't see Dan carter calling himself the best 10 ever to grace the game

Did he say that? He’s been an excellent centre, someone I’ve always wished we’d had in our squad, but a statement like he allegedly made does sound a bit arrogant. Besides which, Arthur Lewis and Steve Fenwick never played regional rugby either!
