Another win but a strange game.
Defence won that for us. Most of the game we were pinned back and without the ball but solid committed defence got the win.

Looked a little less precise - quite a few kicks were more aimless or poorly placed than previous games, didn't get it all our own way in the contact area or winning the ball in the air.

Struggled a little out wide on the right and a few sloppy RGC passes stopped some scores in the second half. They'd have had quicker and better ball if the RGC 9s default reaction at every ruck wasn't to put his hands in the air and yell at the referee slowing his side down.

We still absolutely have pace to chase and score though and it's good to see.

A little bemused how the yellow before half time wasn't actually a red under the current guidance.

Either way its a win - we weren't at our best but still ended up with a good, comfortable victory which is a positive in its own right. Of the games so far RGC looked the best quality opposition we've had.

Agree there String, we will have to tighten up next week against Cardiff especially our kicking game, if Fish is playing we know what he can do.
