Automatic Cars

Post by Graham »

OK then, I suppose that this is what this section is for, so let's throw one out there and see what happens.

Do any of you drive a car with an automatic gearbox?

Yes - everyone does over here. In fact, it'll cost you more for a manual (or "stick shift" as they like to call them). What do you want to know?

Anyone who drives an automatic, other than for medical reasons, should lose the vote instantly

Anyone got a problem with that??

I've got a fully auto box, or a clutchless manual, and paddle shifters! And thanks to my recent number 1 I've almost got less hair than Gra! :)

I'm just asking 'cos I'm doing a bit of research, as (due to health reasons) me and the wife are having to get one instead of a manual box, and it's been many years since I've driven one.
