Tonight's Match

Post by Graham »

Watched a terrible match tonight on BBC2. It was so poor in skill and commitment that I switched between sides and watched some of the U21 game. But thankfully the O's beat the Dragons and got a bonus point so it almost assures them of the title.

Dire game, lack of effort and basic skills. Wow this Celtic League is great innit? Perhaps they should enter some teams into it that look as if they actually give a dollop about it. How about a British league? Now that WOULD gain some interest. But why would the obviously superior English teams want to bother? They get massive crowds no matter who they play in the ZP or HC, a drop in levels to the CL would be of no value to them at all.

Or would it? :?:

2 high placed teams in the league, the one of them potentially winning the title that night.... and it was DIRE.

Watch any ZP or french club game and the difference in quality and pace the game is played is astounding. This just highlighted what a low quality pointless competition the celtic league is really.

Still, nice to see newport get thrashed.
