England v The Ospreys

Post by CK »

England v The Ospreys should be interesting on Saturday!!

Its a pity Gatland could have sneaked Ian Evans in at openside and Mark Taylor on the wing.
They could have had a full house then!!!

But I guess in the end there really aint a lot of other options out there??!!

Could have put Sean Connor in at 10 with Hook on the bench?!!!

At the end of the day these are our best available players. There is nobody else really putting their hand up.

Nice to see the regions working.
Why is the wru paying Gattland so much money when Lyn Jones is the real coach?

It's not even on O's first team when you realise that their regular oversea stars can't play.

Well done to the squad on a gutsy comeback for a well earned win, it took some doing. To be honest though, England should have been out of sight by half time.

England have shown what can happen if you dont take your chances. Lets hope that Ebbw can learn something from this and try to control a game for 80 minutes, starting on Friday.

Great to see Deiniol Jones on the bench, hes been well deserving of a cap for a long time. It just goes to show what a fresh air of eyes in the coach department can do. I thaught Gethin Jenkins did enough to warrent a start. Also a bit of a shock to see Roberts and Thomos starting. Mark Jones doesnt even make the 22 is he injured?

Think Roberts deserves a start he looks a good prospect , never been a big fan of Mark Jones and no he's not injured Gatland told him to go away and work on a few things (Popham likewise).

Agree about Gethin but he'll probably use him as an impact sub early in second half .

As far as Thomos is concerned, i thaught you had to wait a few weeks before playing following concussion.
