But look what its done for welsh rugby, four of probly our best players now playing outside wales a couple of injuries and we can't pick a strong enough team to defened the six nations, out of four sides that is the pinnical of welsh rugby and with most of the welsh rugby supporters left out in the cold. At least when we had club rugby we could compete in europe in both competitions rember how far Carephilly got.

Blame moffet. He claimed he wanted "regional" rugby then went and implemented exactly the opposite giving us superclub rugby. He removed most fans from the game, hasnt saved money as the new superclubs are losing more than the old ones, made too small a player base and basically destroyed the game.

I can see welsh rugby being entirely amateur again before long. The superclub professional tier isnt sustainable and while it continues to alienate most rugby fans in Wales, never will be.

You mean mike hall. The one eye cardiff cretin.

Superclubs will NEVER work in wales. they alienate the vast majority of the fan base.

1,2 or 3 superclubs makes no difference - they'll all lose money due to lack of crowds.

The only way the welsh professional game has any chance of survival is by inclusive regions not the bastardised mess moffet created which we're currently stuck with.

What Mike Hall always forgets to mention of course is that he started his career at Maesteg in an era when there was real club rugby.

That's why I always find his patronsing attitude to 'less fashionable' (sic) clubs like EV so galling.

What a prat - never done a day's proper work in his life.
